This presentation provides Frequently Asked Questions regarding residential wood-framed deck construction using the 2024 International Residential Code (IRC). These are questions asked of building officials, building inspectors, plans examiners and other industry professionals who are responsible for the enforcement of building codes. Specific references to the IRC and other standards will be used.
